The 2024 Golden Globes changed a lot. The entity responsible for its management, known as the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, encountered challenges and ceased its participation.
Currently, Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge Industries are the owner of the show. It was shown on CBS after 40 years, which let more people notice it and get awards.
Jo Koy who is a well-known comedian, began the show by making funny jokes about Hollywood. He talked about actors such as Barry Keoghan and made funny comments about Robert De Niro. Some things he said about Taylor Swift caught people’s notice.300 people from 75 countries picked the nominees and winners, making it fairer and more diverse.
They made new awards for stand-up comedy and movies that did really well, like “Barbie.” People thought movies like “Barbenheimer” and “Killers of the Flower Moon” would win, but everyone was surprised when “Anatomy of a Fall” won some important awards. “Barbie” also won a few awards for its success. In TV, “The Bear” and “Succession” were the winners. “Succession” was a hit with both audiences and critics.
